For artist Mimi Yoon, there is no concrete definition for art. To her it is simply that "art is". Mimi's artwork vibrates with tangible and sensual beauty and honesty. It subtly allure then climaxes to demand attention and is immediately unforgettable. At times, Mimi works intuitively without speculating what the piece will be about using her mood as her medium inviting the audience to drift off on emotional journeys. But her more recent works scream subtle social statements embracing both femininity and strength of women. she studied graphic design at csulb, and has founded an art academy for youth and mentored for 10 years before she started to paint her passion. Mimi’s currently based in the los angeles area, and her commissioned work clients include DC Comics/Warner Brothers, Cartoon Network, Clampett Studios, Coca Cola, McDonalds, Target, IW, IDW, Dynamite Entertainment, Zenescope, and many more. and her original artworks are collected internationally by private collectors.
